Dear PG,
It's been a fabulous second year with you! I remember last year, writing the Goodbye letter I was kind of sad because for some reason it felt like I was going off to college and legitimately saying Goodbye. But this time around, I know I'm gonna see you next year and it's gonna be just as much of a party as it was these past two years. I am so excited to see how next year goes. I have three classes with you next year (well I signed up for them, hopefully they all fit into my schedule) and I am so excited because your classes are my favorite (not in a teachers pet kind of way, no offense, it's because I really like your classes).
The yearbook next year is going to be amazing. I can't wait to see the outcome of it. I'm particularly thrilled to be able to be an editor, it's probably the best news I've gotten all year (I hope that doesn't make me sound lame). I just really love the yearbook a lot, it is my favorite class, you have no idea. I remember the first day of class and I was thought that if I was like a "homie" that Yearbook would be my "Bachelor Pad" ((I'm not a gangster for a reason). This years yearbook is amazing, I am so proud of all the work that's been put into it. I finally somewhat understand why I saw Emily cry last year when she saw it. I'm not sure if I'll cry next year when we get it (I didn't cry at The Fault In Our Stars, so I guess I'm pretty indestructible), but you never know.
Next year is going to one of the hardest, but probably also one of the best years of my high school years. I'll have SATs (ew, no offense), AP testing (again ew, no offense), but all of that is outweighed by all of the things that I love to do. For instance Yearbook (obviously), journalism (party), and other classes, but that isn't what this letter is about so I'm not gonna talk about them.
When my junior year starts I'm definitely going to walk into your classroom and say something either:
a.) Conceited
b.) Funny
c.) Stupid
d.) All of the above.
I always love to make an entrance, it's extremely important. Especially my second to last year of high school because it's my second to last year. I can't wait, it's going to be so fun you have no idea. Or, maybe you do, I don't know. All I do know is that I can not wait for another year of fabulous, fierce, drag-tastic memories. Here's to another year!
Sincerely,
Michael Tenney
Ps. I love drag queens so much.
